Reading today's Bible lesson, I can't help but to think of how careful we must become professing that we know Christ. One time a gentleman asked me if he could pray with me over a sales transaction at my employment. I said yes because I was a young Christian and I loved others who wanted to share in the same belief of Jesus.

As the gentleman continued to pray with me, huge red flags were raising and my inner knowing was screaming...literately it was screaming to drown out the gentlemen praying. The only thing the man prayed for was to get HIS way. He said things like Jesus give Angela the knowledge to provide my needs at no cost to me.
Some people believe they have God in their back pockets.
Jesus says here in this passage that if you know God and you know the truth, you are set free, but if you use it in a way that is displeasing it actually will blind you because your heart is not pure.
Jesus says he's come to open blind eyes. Eyes that are willing to be opened.
