Read today's Scripture here: John 16:1-15
Notice how Jesus says: “I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear." In my line of work, I am always asking for more wisdom. I pray on direction, on answers, on knowledge. When you do receive more knowledge, you also receive more responsibility. Sometimes when I get too far into something, I tend to have to take a look at my priorities, and drop some things that I'm doing, because it becomes too much and too burdensome for one to bare. I think of CEO's in Corporations, and I pray that they have good council and good support.
I'm a little off scripture task today, but not really. What we really need is some trusting partnerships. Can you imagine working at your job, and you've been given an assistant that can warn you of financial downfalls, poor connections, greedy people, wrong motives, and the perfect connections that will save your company?
That is exactly what Jesus promised to send to us, after he ascended to heaven, a helper, one that could lead us into truth and one that knows the future. As our helper, advisor, assistant, we should have ears that are willing to hear.
Ask the Holy Spirit, to lead you into all truths in your everyday tasks.
Don't worry, we are also assured that he will not give us more than we can bare, and will feed us the information as needed. We just need to be open and listening. Communicate with the Spirit, as you would your trusted advisor, after all, he has a direct perfect connection to God and will never have to say "Can you hear me, Can you hear me now?"
Have an amazing day friends, practice communication and partnerships. See if today you can discern who is leading you.
