Do You Understand Eternal Life?

We get so caught up in the temporary things.  Things that will only matter for the moment.  We stress about the job, the sport, the hair, the weight, the house, the mess, we love to stress.  We are so occupied with all the temporary things, we don't have an ounce of room to consider the eternal.

What is the eternal?

Read today's scripture here: John 17:1-5

I often wonder what the world would do if we had a technology shut down.  Think about it.  We've advanced beyond what we could imagine.  Everything we do is connected to a link somewhere.  Technology... it advances and sometimes it can be a disability.  Can we function without it?  Could you go completely off the grid?

Jesus asks for two things in this scripture, to be granted the authority to give eternal life, and for restoration of things as it was before the world was created.

If you are completely engulfed in today, and you just want a brief download of how to secure a healthy eternity.  Here is all you need to know:  "Now this is eternal life: that they know you,G)' data-cr="#cen-NIV-26763G"> the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent."

Take a moment out of your day today to reflect on eternity, on restoration, and what it would take to get there.
