Do you know, however, because Jesus changed the Samaritan Woman's life, many believed in Jesus because she came running back and told the people "He told me everything I ever did" You might be able to hide your sins for a while, but you can't hide faith, that stuff is contagious.
Someone out there, besides me, continues to keep looking at all their mistakes, all the things that someone told them they messed up on, all the perceived failures, missed opportunities, opinions they once had, the lifestyles they once lived and they are thinking... "I'm not good enough for God, and no one will listen to a person like me anyway."
Jesus might just have another plan....
Reading this story about the Samaritan Woman, ( John 4 a paragraph or so long) teaches us a lot about the character of Christ. He didn't just ignore this woman and talk behind her back because of how she was living, or who other people said she was, He saw her heart, and knew that if He spoke truth to her, it would set her free to begin fully living alive, without shame, without having to keep her head down, without having to live life reaping from her sins.
Now she was given living water, a chance to start over.
When Jesus does that for you, and you "get it", you can't just keep that stuff inside. You have to run out and "tell the world" what Jesus has done for you.
"He told me everything I've ever done, and HE didn't condemn me, HE continued to love me, HE said I was worth it!
Did you know that Samaritan Woman, with that terrible reputation, saved many, many lives, simply because she believed, and when she believed it showed on the outside, and people believed because of her.
Don't hang on to your bad reputation, because Jesus sees your potential!
