I'm starving....
I'm hungry for addictions to be released. For those that are trapped by the control of chemicals, or hurts so deep that all they want to do is bury them in a chemical coma so they don't have to feel pain and guilt any longer to be released into freedom. I know Jesus does that.
I'm starving...
For marriages to be Godly, complete, fulfilling, nurturing one another, comforting one another. For the Bride and Groom to be their wedded partners, to live together in marriage. Promising to love each other, comfort each other, honor and keep each other for better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and health, and forsaking all others, be faithful only to each other, for as long as you both shall live. I know Jesus does that.
I'm starving...
To see abuse cease, power and control be handed back over to God, for a world to be submissive to Christ and to end Satan's rule over a people he has no business or no right controlling, except through our free will, which we easily give, most time to the wrong side. To see a people live in freedom. I know Jesus does that.
I'm starving...
To see families healed, fighting and arguing stop, and instead to see family holidays in peace, laughter and fun, and waiting for the next time to be together. That rumors and talking behind each others back, cutting people down, rejection and fear be gone. That we would stop finding ways to hurt each other with our actions and words. I know Jesus does that.
I'm starving...
For someone who will walk with me in that direction, although we don't know what direction that is or even what it looks like, but that we are hungry enough to blindly chase after it, choosing instead to live by faith instead of sight. For a people that will lock arms and say, "we don't like what we see here", it's time to ask God to heal our lands, to heal our people, to heal our minds and to take back what Jesus died to give us and rose to secure it. It's time for a renewal, a restart, and revision, and it's time to start now...be willing. Jesus does that.
I'm starving for a change in me and for God to do it.
You, however, must teach what is appropriate to sound doctrine. Teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled, and sound in faith, in love and in endurance. Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God. Similarly, encourage the young men to be self-controlled. In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us.
