Satan Is Using You To Get To Me!

"Satan is using you to get to me! "I'm not kidding...I've heard these words spoken directly to me.  All it takes is to point out "sin" and demons start freaking out.  Have you ever told anyone that the Bible says that homosexuality is a sin, or that lying is a sin, or that fornication is a sin, or adultery or getting drunk or perverse talk?  Seriously try it, but do not be surprised when you are lashed out at and told all sorts of things.  I know how I feel when someone puts their finger in my wounds.  It hurts and instantly I rear up...but it's what I do after that makes an impact in my own life.

The beautiful thing about life is that God allowed us freewill.  In order to have freewill, we have to have choices between good and evil.  Without that scenario, we aren't making choices, we are being controlled.  God is not a tyrant, He is our Abba Father, our Daddy, our Creator and He created us to be able to fellowship directly with Him IF we choose.

We eat Christians and Non-Christians alive because of pointless arguments, desires, temptations that we have growing in us.  Instead of turning to God when conflict arises, we immediately begin lashing out at each other, most times, simply because people are not meeting the standards we set for them.

But what are we called to do when people are not meeting the standards God sets for them? What did the men and women of the Bible do?  Did they have some Christian Clique they used on everyone...or did they listen for the voice of God and follow his directive daily?  Did they collect fresh manna every day, or did they store up the same manna over and over and over?  Are his mercies new every morning or do we put hope in the mercy that was given to us yesterday?

Listen, ultimately it is your goal to be in relationship with God, personally, you and Him...but for the most part the Bible seems too much to handle.  We don't have time, we don't understand it, we don't agree with it, we don't like it.  So we begin to lean on our own understanding.  We form opinions about life and what it's done to us and others and we begin to act on those experiences.  That's not God's direction.

When God speaks, often times, we don't like what he has to say, or we don't like when others point it out, simply because we prefer to keep all those dark demons hidden away in a nice little package where others can't see them.  The moment God or someone that loves you sees them and points them out...we start to look like Smeagol on the Lord of the Rings having to give up the ring... "Don't touch "my precious" sin!!!"  we hiss.

Did you know that Jesus was accused by Priests of being demon possessed?   He took people's sickness and make them well and and it made people call him a demon....we are interesting people aren't we?  Matthew 12:22-32 and Luke 11:14-23

But what happens if we do allow God to take that precious sin away from us...our security blanket, our temptations or bondage...and replace it with his spiritual gifts of love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control."

Would you still believe Satan or Christians were judging you, or might it actually be the key that sets you free?
