Read todays scripture here: John 18:1-14
The second thing that strikes my attention today reading this passage, I say today, because reading the Bible is like one of those adventure books that you can read today and you get "this" out of it, and tomorrow with the choices I make and the lessons I learn, I might get "that" out of it. It's a never ending resource for every situation in life. (Rabbit trail) ok, back to the second thing: is that when Jesus said "I AM HE" all the soldiers drew back and fell to the ground. Come on now...if you (since it's football season) saw two teams come on the field and team one announced "We are the Vikings" and Green Bay all drew back and fell to the ground, do you think you would have any doubt who would win in the end, regardless of what the "game" looked like? Who would think I could have used the Vikings to parallel Scripture. I know I know, regardless, it's still a good point!
