Warning! Life's Bombs Can and Will Explode

You are making progress, life feels amazing, things are going at a perfect speed and BAM!  A few of life's bombs explode on the side of your road and cause massive confusion.   They are small ones, not any that will destroy everything, but enough to where you lay awake at night worrying about what caused them.  To make matters worse, it doesn't stop there.  Just for good measure a few more goes off.   These ones create more confusion to an already tired body. Finally, if that wasn't enough a couple more just because you are so exhausted from the first one that the last one will be the end of you.  Pretty soon we are treating other's poorly, we loose discipline, we start looking for excuses and we start creating the world that the bombs set out to create.

I determined in my heart that it was time to mend relationships, and when God speaks, you need to be prepared for Satan to test your motives.   I think this part of our walk has two fold.  Without opposition, you don't know how far you are willing to go, and if you go the distance, you will change lives.   I told a co-worker the other day that I wanted to learn that verbal judo stuff because I didn't want to react every time something happened.  My co-worker said, "yeah but even if you learn the principal, the only way you will get good at it is if you have to go through it".

Did you catch that too?  By now you know that whatever happens to me, I instantly apply it to my Christian walk.

Friends let me be a little harsh on you, it's time to stop going back to the ways we "know" and start applying God's truth to our situations.  It's time that we stop being offended by every little thing and finding an excuse to return to the pit that we came out of.  I am an encourager, but I'm definitely not an enabler.   In order to move forward, you will have to ask for a renewed mind.  You will have to walk through some things, you will have to learn to build your faith or to remain where you are, stuck in a road where the next bomb is waiting to explode.

God tells us that there is a time for everything, and there is a time to be comforted, there is a time to share tears, there is a time to be consoled and you should.  I have moments like this at least once a month.  But please do not stay there.  Not because you are a burden on anyone, but because if you choose to remain there, you will choose to miss out on life.

Ecclesiastes 3
New International Version (NIV)

A Time for Everything

There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:
a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.

Be encouraged friends...you are world changers!
Have an amazing day!
