I'm going to tell you that my brain, without a doubt in my mind, produces a large amount of Oxytocin. This is a hormone in your brain that allows you to feel love, compassion, and emotions like that. I'm overabundant in this category. I still sit down and listen to people that have lied to me over and over and over. I still try to mend relationships when they are broken. I get hung up on trying to make a wrong situation right and for me it is hard to move forward until resolves have been met. Matter of fact, they don't go away, they stay there until God releases them or they've been resolved. It's who I am, and it will always be a part of me.
I do, however, still judge actions when I see them. I believe a person has to. It's the ability to decide the direction in your life and the life of others. We use a lot of different things to "judge" actions or others, depending on who we are. Some of us use the law, some of us use our opinions and some of us use the Word of God. How can you tell what's right or wrong? What would you rather put your trust in. Someone's opinion? Yes, this may allow you to do something that you want to do, but then that person who says YES to that action may say no to another action you want to engage in, and you now have a conflict. So, really, when it comes down to it, do you want to trust Man Made Laws, or God's Laws? Which can you trust won't change, no matter what you do?
Judging action, however, should never take away the love for that person. Have you ever had someone in your family make poor choices, and you've labeled them a "black sheep" of the family. Withdrew your love from them and those around them? Have you ever rallied up the family against another family member and excluded them from life. How about let's just delete them from Facebook. How about I don't have "time" for that? What do they have to do in order for you to accept them again? What do they have to do for you to make that situation better? Maybe you just wash your hands from them, and let them walk like a vagabond for the rest of their life? Do you think they will keep trying or give up? Do you think that is what God does to us?
Now that I have your mind on that, let me tell you what the Bible says about judging others. Matthew 7:2 New King James Version (NKJV) says: For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. What that means is this ~ how you deal with other people is how God will deal with you. Think on this carefully my friends, this HARD TRUTH is the reason that we reach out and discuss real life scenarios with each other. We have an opportunity to accept responsibility for our own actions and judgement, and we have an opportunity to grow and change. As I always say, the power is within you, you have the ability without excuse. It's time to change ourselves and release the world from blame. Do your part... it's like the tower of Babble...when we can once again be united in Spirit, we will be able to do amazing things ~ And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
